ABOUT US
NAB Foundation Recovery Crew led by Disaster Relief Australia helps communities to recover from disasters. Comprised of community members ready to help when and where they can, the NAB Foundation Recovery Crew is there to assist DRA and help bring hope to communities devastated by disaster. It takes many hands.
OUR STORY
When disastrous floods hit Brisbane in 2011, community members formed the Mud Army and volunteered to help clean up. After the floods hit again in Brisbane in 2022, many Australians wanted to volunteer, but there wasn’t the capacity to manage the process. After witnessing firsthand the ingenuity and ‘people power’ of everyday Australians, Disaster Relief Australia and NAB Foundation have partnered to unite community volunteers and provide coordinated assistance to help communities recover from disasters.
NAB Foundation Recovery Crew launched in 2023 and is a collective of everyday Australians and corporations that roll up their sleeves to help when and where they can.
NAB Foundation has partnered with DRA to help communities withstand and recover from natural disasters.
